Oh how I do love these Sinner children!!! Danny and Skye being one of the best couples of the bunch. Why, you ask? Because they seem to be the couple that have been most affected by the MC. The very thing that they both loved so much, were both born into and raised to be a part of- is the one thing that ultimately rips them apart.
For these two, my heart seemed to do nothing but splinter more with each page. The pain that they endured was palpable. It radiated from my Kindle screen.
Never had I felt like one of the Sinner couples were more destined for each other than Danny and Skye, which is why it killed me to see them being forced away from one another. While I understood the reasoning- with Danny wanting to follow in what he felt was his destiny, and Skye wanting to find herself as someone outside of an MC brat- I certainly didn't enjoy their time apart. Not one bit. I hated it. Hated that either of them attempted to move on with others. But most of all, I hated that they continued to run toward each other as fast as they could when trouble hit, yet refused to see what was right in front of them.
But, as Bella always does- she brought us through the storm, out to the sunshine. She shows us that after the pain, there can be beauty. And Danny and Skye most certainly have their share of pain. Well, really the entire club does. That's right guys- you get everyone in on this one- and no one is safe. There are so many moments that are going to make you hold your breath, white knuckle your Kindle, or even scream in fear- but I promise, it is all worth it in the end. Because remember- after the pain, there can be beauty. Pure and simple.
This book, just like any other in this series, or any of Bella Jewel's that I've read, is phenomenal. I couldn't recommend it any more. They all get 5 stars from me- every single one. And I cannot wait to see who she gives us next, because I know it's going to be one hell of a ride!!
