MY REVIEW FOR SACRIFICE:
Holy crap, I love me some Crew Gentry!!! I know that we didn't get to meet Gage at all, but I cannot imagine him being the better Gentry brother. After seeing how fiercely Crew loved not only Julia, but Everleigh as well, I fell hard for him. I loved that this was a true second chance romance, since Julia and Crew were actually each other's first loves- even though she ended up with Crew's brother, Gage.
The torch that Crew carried for Jules for all of the years that they were apart, most certainly blazed bright enough to light their world. Even if he had to keep it hidden so that Julia could be happy with Gage. I hated to think of the torture that he must have been put through over the years seeing his brother with the only woman that he had ever loved. And Julia, I was almost angry with her for burying her love for Crew so deep, that she almost forced it out of her heart. I understand that she loved her husband, and wanted to live a happy life with him, but she should have never denied her feelings for Crew either. Not to mention the guilt that she laid on Crew's shoulders over Gage's death, and the grief that she endured after it. Sweet Crew took it all, no matter how much she threw at him, and never- not even once, did he stop loving her.
When they were faced with the ultimate tragedy, they truly had to pull together and show how strong of a team they could be. That's when their love came out for all the world to see. Feelings long denied, quickly resurfaced and blazed bright. And my oh my, what a blaze it was- these two are HOT!! Loved their chemistry, and of course, all of the pent up sexual frustration that exploded when they finally came back together.
The ending of this book- simply freaking phenomenal. The sacrifice that Crew makes for his girls- holy hell. Melt my heart. Speaking of that heart- I'm pretty sure that it stopped at some point when the ending was unfolding, that's how suspenseful it was!!! So glad that I hung in there, because I cannot imagine the book turning out any differently than it did.
This is my first experience with Adriana, but certainly will not be my last- this one was great. I give it 5 stars, and would love to get a story about Will at some point!!!! ;)

My life changed forever the night my husband died.
I was left with a shattered heart, a heap of bills, and our daughter, EVERLEIGH. I don’t want to rely on anyone, least of all CREW GENTRY. He’s my first love and the man who almost destroyed me, the man who has let me down every time I’ve needed him.
But when tragedy strikes a second time, Crew just might be my only hope.
My life changed forever the night my brother died.
I was left with a guilty conscience, a pile of mistakes, and little else. I take care of JULIA GENTRY, my brother’s widow and the love of my life, and their daughter. I know she doesn’t want my help, but she gets it anyway. I owe her that. When another disaster hits, I’m given the opportunity to make things right. I’m taking it. I'm willing to sacrifice it all.

“She’s been missing him a lot lately.”
Julia’s voice is barely a whisper and my chest constricts. Our conversations don’t normally make it to discussing Gage unless we’re already arguing. The fact that she just brought it up shocks me and I’m not comfortable with it. I don’t know how to take it. I feel my jaw pulse with frustration and scramble to change the subject again. “Why is it so chilly in here?”
Her smile disappears and she tugs her sweatshirt nervously. “I didn’t know it was.”
“How can you possibly not know?” I start to the thermostat across the room when she clears her throat.
“The heater isn’t working right. I asked Lane to come by and look at it earlier this week.”
“And he hasn’t been here yet?” I shoot her a look and she shakes her head. “He’ll be here tonight.” I dig my cell outta my pocket.
“Crew, don’t. Please. The last time you called my landlord he was a complete jerk to me for a couple of months. I just got on good terms with him again.”
I scroll through my contacts list, looking for his name.
“Crew ...” I know her doe-eyes are pleading with me. I also know if I look up at her, I’ll be somewhat inclined to give in. So I don’t.
