My Review:
Is there anyway that Lani Lynn can steer us wrong at this point? I mean, honestly, I don't think the woman is capable of putting out a bad book. Everything, but everything that I've had the pleasure of reading from her, has been nothing shy of fantastic. And having Tobias to round out the Dixie Warden Rejects, was the perfect way for Lani to wrap this series!
Now, I can't say that I'm happy to be saying "See Ya Later" to this gang, because we know you never say Goodbye in Lani-Land, but, I know she has more goodness in store for us, just around the bend, so that lessened the sting a bit. But, after what Tobias went through in Ghost's book, and having him be a savior of sorts for Audrey, I knew I had to have their story be told. As always, Lani didn't disappoint. These two are on fire.
After the terrible things that Audrey experienced in her past, it was easy to expect her to never want anything to do with another man. That was until she met Tobias. He was different. He spoke to her on a deeper level, a bone deep level that she never thought could happen. However, what these two least expected to happen, was the very thing that did- they fell in love. And they fell hard. It was beautiful. They healed each other. What no one else in the world could do- they did for one another- and it was magical.
In addition to seeing these two come together, Lani gave us a couple of glimpses into the past as well, because like I said, you never really say "Goodbye" in Lani-Land. Just another reason to love her books all the more. Anyway, in short, as I stated earlier- this was the perfect end to a perfect series, and I'm thrilled to have been along for the ride. I've already had the privelege of reading her next book, and trust me- it's gonna blow y'all away!! So strap on guys and gals- and enjoy your ride!!
