Gosh, you guys, this book. Talk about ripping your heart out, piecing it back together, and shoving it back in there. Good lord, does it ever...... After picking it up, I COULD NOT put it down. Read it all in one sitting. That's how damn good it is. Not that I haven't loved all of Bella's books that I've read, but this one touched me so deeply.
Maybe it was the dedication at the beginning, where she explains the reasoning behind it, and how personal it was for her. Maybe because it reminded me of my own husband, and how he did the exact same thing for me so long ago, or maybe it's just because Roman and Molly are so freaking beautiful and perfect together that I can't stand it. I just don't know. But whatever it is- this book has IT. Every ounce of IT. IT is there.
These two lost and broken, not just fractured, but completely smashed and broken, people- miraculously find each other exactly when they are supposed to. And everything else just falls into place. Besties are born. They become each other's person. They're inseparable. They laugh together, hurt together, and eventually- they love together.
It is, without a doubt, the most beautiful thing that Bella Jewel has ever written, and in my mind, will go down as one of her best ever works. If not, the best. So please, take my word on this one- and get this book. It is SO good. So, so damn good. There are moments that you'll hate everything about it, and scream in frustration, and cry at the injustice of it all, but it is so worth it. Every word will make it better. Because after all, nothing makes the world better than a Bestie.
