How sweet are these two?? Caleb and Riley-Ann certainly were a match made in cowboy heaven, that’s for sure! Even if the title of the book let’s you know that yes, technically Caleb “buys” Riley-Ann, the man is one of the most perfect gentlemen that you’re ever gonna read about in any book- I can guarantee that. I was floored at the level of manners and patience, as well as old Southern charm that this man bestowed on his lady love. It is something that is simply unheard of these days, so to see it in a romance novel- was really quite refreshing.
I enjoyed the storyline of the book, everything flowed smoothly, and both characters were very likeable and relatable to everyday people. It was something that you could definitely see happening in any old everyday situation- boy meets girl, they fall for one another- girl is too stubborn for her own good, boy comes up with the genius idea to buy a date with girl at a charity auction for $100,000. Did I mention boy is super wealthy?? Well, that part MIGHT not happen every day- but, the rest is pretty standard, right? Anyway, all is fair in love and war, and Caleb gets his date- and his woman.
It’s a great story, with some hotter than hot sex scenes that will go a long way towards steaming up your Kindle screen, so maybe read in private..... and most definitely, enjoy!!
