New Release & Review!!! Too Bad, So Sad-- Lani Lynn Vale!!!

Tyler, oh Tyler, you little devil you!! How you snuck up on us all! I would have never suspected this boy in blue to be such a heartbreaker, but Lani sure knew what she was doing with this man!! Even after reading about him in book after book with all of our other couples, and getting to know bits and pieces about him, I still would have never thought he was anything like he was- and for that- I am so glad.
He was amazing! And SO perfect for Reagan Rose. Because let me tell y'all something- that girl was hell on wheels for most of her childhood, so I was happy to see that it had not completely changed throughout her adulthood.
Even though Reagan wasn't technically a Free kid, she was the next best thing, so it makes sense that she would be one of the kiddos to get thrown into one of these couplings. And it was a great match. She was the true oil to Tyler Cree's water. The perfect hurricane to his somewhat peaceful existence. I mean honestly, the poor fella never knew what he was up against, and that just made it all the more hilarious.
I could absolutely see why both of these two characters would have shied away from the opposite sex, but that's why they worked so well together. They were what both least expected, but the one person that completed the other- the perfect puzzle pieces.
Lani did a fantastic job finishing out this series, as much as I hated to see it go, and I do HATE to see it ending, because I loved seeing these kids all grown up and making their own ways in life. But, I figure we will be seeing them all again in some way or another, and I think we may even see some more somewhere down the line getting their own HEA's too. At least I can only hope!!  ;)
5 brilliant stars!!!

About TOO BAD SO SAD

Tyler Cree has never been good at the whole look and don’t touch thing.
From the moment he was old enough to walk on his own two feet, he’s been looking for trouble. Trouble comes in many forms…quite a few of those forms being the female persuasion.
Tyler knows what girls want—a bad boy.
And he has the bad boy image down pat.
Ex-military—check.
Hot cop—double check.
A bike between his legs and a devil may care attitude—oh, yeah. A
ll the girls want him, yet none of them will have him—at least not all of him, anyway.
A certain appendage they can have all they want.
His heart, however, is not up for grabs.
The useless organ inside his chest was broken and battered, mutilated by the one woman he thought would keep it safe.
Spoiler alert: she ripped it to shreds and set fire to the pieces.
To protect himself, Tyler keeps everyone at arm’s length, and never lets anyone get too close.
Then Reagan Rose Alvarez barrels into his life, and trespasses on not only his property, but straight into his abused heart.
One glance is all it takes, and he’s suddenly thinking about things he hasn’t thought for quite some time—thoughts that a man like him should never have about a woman like her.
One moment of weakness is all it takes, and suddenly he has no other choice but to go on the offensive.
Keeping her is the only other option now.
Turns out, his heart isn’t as broken as he thought it was.
The only problem is, now the little she-devil holds it in the palm of her hands, and she has no clue just how much power she holds.
