Y'all. It's Janie and Rafe. Finally. After teasing us with this one for what seems like FOREVER, Lani has unleashed it unto the masses- and IT is EPIC. This may be my favorite of anything I've read of hers yet.
And that is above Ghost.
Ghost, who I thought would NEVER be topped. But I think she has done it in Rafe. The man was nothing but a mystery to us for so long, and we wondered why he was the way he was, but we finally get so many of our answers in Kinda Don't Care. Of course, I know that many of us never realized that little Janie would be the one to bring out those answers. Little Janie who we all watched grow up in the Free Bird series, is now a woman. The woman that Rafe wants and loves. And the woman that loves him just as fiercely. A
s much as we have come to expect the love and hot sex that Lani Lynn delivers in each book, there is also that expected level of suspense as well- this time connected to one of Rafe's jobs. That life that he has held so close to his vest for so long, finally comes back to place his life in peril, as well as his relationship with the only woman he's ever wanted. Everything about Kinda Don't Care deserves 5 stars- every word, every page, every character- just everything. I loved it, adored it even. I am already salivating for Kayla and Parker and hope that the days fly by quickly!!
