It ought to be, Sami thought wryly as her body heated under the weight of his stare. She’d certainly worked hard enough to maintain it over the years. For all the good it had done her, she thought bitterly. Even after all the dieting and exercising, she’d still lost her modeling contract to a younger, shinier version of herself. Of course, that wasn’t Ben’s fault and being a bitch to him now wouldn’t get her job back. “Thanks,” she muttered, “It’s not quite as perky as it once was, but I try to keep it in shape.
“Trust me, babe, your ass is as gorgeous as it ever was,” Ben assured her with a playful wink.
God, was she imagining things or was he actually flirting with her? Mentally giving herself a sound slap on the back of her head, Sami knew she couldn’t let her thoughts wander in that direction. She needed to cut this painfully familiar banter off now. “That doesn’t answer my other question, Ben . Why are you following me?” she questioned impatiently as she stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and turned to face him.
“I’m following you because I think you and I have some things to discuss,” he answered evenly. “In fact, we’re long overdue on having a chat, don’t you? It’s time we hash some things out between us.”
Automatically shaking her head, Sami backed up a step, wholly unprepared to go down that road with Ben. “Uh, I don’t think that’s a good idea, Ben. I think we said everything we had to say to each other three years ago, didn’t we?” she asked before turning and resuming her walk down the street.

I just love and adore Sarah O'Rourke, which I believe that most of you know, so any time I am able to get my hands on some new goodness that the ladies have unleashed- I jump on it. Ben and Samantha are no exception to that rule. These two heat up the pages, and the town of Paradise, almost as much as our original Paradise crew does. Let's just say that both of them fit right in with the ones we know and love.
Now Ben and Samantha aren't newbies in their lovely coupling, oh no- these two are long lost lovers that were tragically pulled apart due to circumstances that could have been prevented. Something that could have easily been avoided and explained, instead caused them to miss out on several years of their lives- time that could have and should have been spent together. Have I mentioned that they never fell out of love with one another during all of that time? Because yeah, that's a huge part of why they were so perfect together. Even during all the time they were apart- neither one could ever force themselves to move on with someone else. They were slowly pining for the other one, without even realizing it. So, Ben runs away to the town of Paradise to nurse his broken heart, and Samantha throws herself into her work to try and forgot the love of her life. Too bad, Vivian, Samantha's best friend and newest Paradise resident has other plans. Plans that include bringing her best friend and her man back together and bringing the love and spark back into both their eyes.
Needless to say, hilarity ensues, because this is Sarah O'Rourke after all- and let's just say that a certain scene with Uncle Jethro and Aunt Orla will have you rolling on the ground in laughter. There's a plentiful amount of sexy time for our couple, and a good dose of our beloved Paradise folks in there as well- everything we love from an O'Rourke book. I can't say enough about it, but to get it now, before you regret it anymore than you already are for having not read it before now!!
