Good lord, Baylor Hail may just be the death of me!! The man is a
walking pot of sex and sin!! And oh, what a huge heart of god he has. I could
have just wrapped him in my arms and never let him go!
The way he was with Lark, given the horrible hand she'd been dealt at
life- just made me melt. He fell for her when he had to repossess her car, and
it only grew from there. He stood up to her horrible landlord. He rescued her
from her sword-wielding psycho of an ex-husband. He loved her. Pure and simple.
I mean, what more could you ask for?
Because even if you didn't
ask for it, Baylor Hail gave it- that's who he was- a man that gave of himself
over and over. A wounded veteran, who gave his heart to a service dog, his time
and patience to a rehabilitation center, and his love to his nieces and
nephews, his brothers and his family. He just gave it all. And never asked for
anything in return.
But that was the amazing
thing about Lark. She also gave. She gave happiness to everyone she knew. Even
longing to live in her peaceful bubble of solitude, she gave love and
friendship to everyone she met. She gave Baylor a renewed life, a second chance
with his furry friend, and a beautiful love that he could only dream of. She
gave it all. And she never asked for anything in return.
That's why these two worked-
why they were perfect. Why every Lani Lynn Vale couple is PERFECT.
