Holy hell, this book!!! I swear with every man that these ladies write, I fall harder. I always say that I'll never be able to pick a favorite, but I think that Coen is now it!! To read about a man that doesn't so much as look at another woman after he meets his lady love, even though they aren't together, well there's just nothing better than that.
The fact that he literally starts their story by saving her life, and then continuing to do so two years later, when he finally rescues her from a horrible home life- those are the kinds of things that dreams are made of!!
And sweet Eden, I just wanted to reach out and give her a great big ole hug. After having to endure something so scary as a young teen, then having to continue to deal with crap at home, it just sucked. She, above most other girls, truly deserved her knight in shining armor. I'm so glad that Coen fit that bill for her.
This is yet another fab read by the AR ladies that you can't afford to miss out on. It's just as steamy and ridiculously over the top as you'd expect from this amazing team of writers!! They are truly my guilty pleasure!!!!! 5 stars!!!!
