If it's possible, I think that I love Levi Eddison more than his brother, and that's saying a lot, seeing as how Ryker was amazing!! But, seeing Levi with Braun and the way he handled her, the way he handled her daughter, I couldn't help but be head over heels.
Gillian was right to place the forward in the book about mental illness and suicide, because this book deals heavily with both- especially for Braun. The things she endures, before even meeting Levi, are heartbreaking. They're things that would break most people beyond repair, but somehow she finds a way to pick up her pieces and carry on. Luckily, Levi is the perfect guy to help her do that. Her family, is fantastic, and they make the story even more wonderful.
I adore this series, and am so glad that I've been lucky enough to review it, as these characters resonate with me so much. Gillian does a fantastic job of bringing to light some heavier subject matter, and still keeps the book from becoming too dark. I hope that we get more from the Pub fiction gang soon because I love them, and would love to see Luke get his own book too!! Hint, hint Gillian!!!

Mental illness is a growing concern in our world today. On the Rocks is about surviving the aftermath of suicide, and believing in love again. Levi and Braunwyn’s love story is inspired by events that impacted the lives of people I care about deeply.
