I was so excited to see that J had decided to release this surprise addition to the Kelly's story. I needed more of these two, seeing as they were what made me fall in love with J. Daniels' books. A true enemies to lovers story, this one tugs at your heartstrings for sure. Seeing all that Ben and Mia have overcome over the last three years, and all that they have in their lives now- it was awesome.
My heart broke for Mia when the infamous Angie reappeared and her relationship with Nolan was threatened. Because in my mind, she was the only true mother that he had ever had. I couldn't stomach the thought that Angie may try and take him away from her. I was on pins and needles through most of that.
I also loved seeing more Tessa and Luke, as well as Beth and Reed. I can't wait to see more from these couples as well, especially the possibility of babies!!!
Plus, the glimpse of CJ and Riley- oh yeah, that's gonna be a good one!!
J definitely knocked it outta the park again with Where We Belong, and I highly recommend it, as a fabulous addition to the Alabama Summer series!!! 5 stars!!!
