A REASON TO KILL (Reason #2) by CP Smith
MY REVIEW:
Okay, I know that I mentioned above how much I love this book, but I feel like I have to say it again- it's just damn phenomenal!! I inhaled it- craved it every time that I had to put down my Kindle and do something else. I hated that I had to work everyday, as it was keeping me from Max and Mia. That's how addicted I am to this series- hell, not even this series- all of CP's books!! I have had to message her so many times to let her know how much I love them, that I cannot imagine how she isn't tired of me yet, lol. They're just that good.
Several times, I have compared CP to our lady of alphas- Kristen Ashley. And, I completely and fully stand behind that comparison. There is nothing to me as close to a KA book, as something that CP has written. She has alphas down to a tee. First Jack (in A Reason to Breathe), then Nick (in Restoring Hope), and now Max. And oh my, how I want to jump the bones of all three. Max, yeah- he's my new man. The love and fierce protective nature he has with Mia, as well as his home and family- yep, that's all it takes for me. That's a real man, the type you want to crawl into bed with at night.
This book is a great continuation of the Gunnison legacy, and I can only hope that there are some more Gunnison men that CP has yet to introduce us to. I so need that!! Of course, we get a nice piece of Jack and Jenn as well here, but I don't want to think that the story is finished yet. I just can't- I love it too much to admit that.
5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
