This is Cody (Casper) & Farrah's story, and man what a story it is. No less explosive than that of Brenna & Dragon, nor Callie & Grease-- it is truly dynamic and does not disappoint.
We, of course, met both of them in Craving Redemption, but we only got a taste of how awesome they could be. We never really got into much more than their mutual attraction for each other. So, to get their full story, it makes the heart soar for sure. I was thrilled to see Farrah finally redeem herself in life, even though it broke my heart to see her struggle with her acceptance of the club and the life that she was bound to be a part of. I hated that she felt like an outsider at times, and even more than her own father made her feel that way, even if it was all part of a grander plan. This girl had already suffered and struggled so much (as we say in Callie's book), so I wanted her to finally have something good in her life. I wanted that peace for her. Longed for it even.
And Cody, well he gives her that- even when she wants to deny it. He is truly what kept her grounded and thriving in her new life. His love for her never wavered- not once. Even when the worst thing he thought had happened- he still couldn't deny the love he had for her. And that love-- huge. Talking first glance at the crazy blonde hippy chick kinda love. From second one- she was it for him. Even when he feels he is having to compete with a ghost (Echo)- he never backed down. He was determined to make Farrah his. Gotta love a man with a mindset of steel!!
Their HEA-- freaking wonderful!! Yeah, the crap they had to endure to get it was awful, but they fought like hell, and got it. That's what matters. And-- It. Was. Beautiful!! Truly absolution for every sin they had endured and committed. Just pure beauty.
Nicole brought it like only she can do for this MC. She owns it. Much praise for this amazing MC series- 5 stars!!
