Well y'all, Alexa is at it again, this time with Trace Jennings. And if you thought you had fallen hard for her men before, you hadn't met this one yet. Man oh man, is Trace a sight to behold. The second to youngest of the Jennings clan- he has patiently waited in his own lone silence in order for his HEA to come along. Little did he know it would come in the form of his own personal angel, seemingly dropped from heaven.
Y'all, your heart is gonna break for Addison, and for the crappy life she's led that led her to Trace's ranch, but you're gonna love how Trace loves her. His love is one of the most fierce that I have seen from an AR hero, and that says a lot, since those men are forces of nature. Even as she is sweet and innocent, she immediately recognizes her soul's other half in Trace, and knows that he will protect her at all costs.
This is, without a doubt, one of my new favorites. I fell hard and fast for both of these characters, and the story that they built and lived out page by page. I just couldn't help it- I was drawn in deep from the first page.
As sad as it makes me to know that only Dolly's story remains to be told, and that means the end of this fantastic series, I still find myself wishing the days away until I can get my hands on it. That's how much I love these books- they are their own brand of heroin, and I will proudly announce my junkie status for them.

Warning: This short story is filthy good, with co-dependency at its peak! These two people are absolutely crazy, and it if wasn’t so sweet, it would be certifiable. Go ahead and suspend your reality while you float away with this cloud of ridiculous!
