Blog Tour!!! King-- T.M. Frazier!!!!

Okay, it's quite damn possible that I have never, but ever, had a book hangover like the one that I have with King.......

King and Doe- oh my god. Just yeah. NO words. This book is SO freaking good. One of my new ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOKS. EVER. I mean, EVER. While I knew that there was going to be some kind of something, after meeting King in Dark Needs, I had no clue the depths that his story would go. No idea the love that he would feel for Doe.

Their intense connection was absolutely immediate. Not just a physical attraction, but almost a binding tether that you couldn't see. Neither of them could stay away, no matter how they tried. Even as Doe became King's "prisoner", she was still drawn to him. She somehow knew that he was ultimately her protector, her lover, her heart and soul- just hers.

King, on the same token, was just as taken with Doe. After letting her go, basically releasing her "into the wild", he could not resist the primal urge to come back and claim her, yet again. He was would so tight around her finger, even if she didn't realize it, that it scared him. He had never felt himself belong to anyone before- but he knew, down to his core- that he belonged to Doe.

I think that's why the ending of this book was so damn hard. To see these two, literally torn apart, it simply gutted me. I cried- big, huge ugly tears. Tears of sorrow and pain- but most of all, of rage. I'm sure that somewhere in my body, my blood was well and truly boiling, after seeing the things that Doe's father had done. After all of the horrific things that King and Doe had been through, especially with the recent thing with Preppy, to see him betray them that way- I wanted his head. I immediately messaged T.M. on Facebook and begged for Tyrant- yes, I begged. Pleaded even. I'm not ashamed to say that. I need the rest of King and Doe's story- maybe more than I've needed a book in a long while. That's how much it affected me. That's how phenomenal it was. 5 stars- well, that's just not even close to being enough for this book. Not even close. More like a million. One of the best that I've ever read. Hands down.

Homeless, hungry and desperate enough to steal, Doe has no memories of who she is or where she comes from.

A notorious career criminal just released from prison, King is someone you don’t want to cross unless you’re prepared to pay him back in blood, sweat, pu$$y or a combination of all three.

King’s future hangs in the balance. Doe’s is written in her past. When they come crashing together, they will have to learn that sometimes in order to hold on, you have to first let go.

Warning: This book contains graphic violence, consensual and nonconsensual sex, drug use, abuse, and other taboo subjects and adult subject matter. Although originally slated to be a standalone, KING is now a two part series.

Tattooing Doe was the single most erotic moment of my life. Marking her perfect, pale skin with a tattoo I'd designed for her made me so fucking hard I had to adjust myself every thirty seconds in order to concentrate on my work.
When I was done, I handed her the hand mirror, and she walked over to the full-sized mirror that hung on the back of the door, like she'd seen dozens of my other clients do before. When she held up the hand mirror, she gasped.
"What?" I asked in a panic, hoping she didn't already see what I'd hidden in the tattoo. I was an asshole for putting it there. I was an asshole for tattooing her in the first place.
I was just an asshole.
But I couldn't help myself. My name needed to be on her. It wasn’t enough just to call her mine. I needed to mark her as well. So hidden in the vine work under the quote I found that I thought was perfect for her, was my name.
KING was woven into the design.  In order to see it you had to tilt your head or otherwise you wouldn't notice it. But it was there.
I would tell her eventually of course, but I wanted it to be my secret for a while. She'd stopped being my possession a while ago, a lot longer before I cared to admit, but I still felt the need to mark her as mine.
I still liked the idea of owning her.
Only now, she owned me, too.
She didn't notice the name. Tears filled her eyes. She stood there staring at the hand mirror in just her panties. Little cheeky ones where her ass hung out of the bottoms. Her tits were only inches from my face. Her tears of happiness made my dick twitch. Although her sad tears evoked the same response.
My dick wasn't partial to which kind of tears he liked.
I took the mirror from her hand and lifted her up onto the counter. "You like it?" I asked, pushing her panties down her legs.
"I love it," she panted, wrapping her legs around me, drawing me close. Her wetness soaking my boxers. I pushed them down with one hand. I'd been hard for three hours, the entire time I’d been working on her, and couldn't wait any longer. I pushed inside her tight, wet heat.
We both moaned at the contact.
"You love it?" I asked, needing to hear her say it again.
"Yes, I love it!" she said as I thrust up into her, hard. "I love it. So much. I love you."
I froze when I heard the words, and when I did, her eyes flung open.
"I didn't mean—"
"Shut the fuck up."
"Oh my god, I have that word vomit thing. I’m sorry.  Shit, I just meant that—"
"Shut the fuck up!" I demanded, thrusting hard to get her attention. She closed her eyes, and her head fell back. "That's fucking better. Now, keep that pretty mouth of yours shut while I fuck you."
"Okay," she whispered, breathless.
"Shut up," I said again, and she closed her mouth. "Shut up so I can fuck you…and show you how much I love you."
She nodded and although her eyes stayed shut, a tear rolled down her cheek. I sucked it off her chin before it could fall to the floor.
Then, I fucked her.
I showed her how much I loved her until I couldn't tell where I started and she began. Until all that was in that room was me and her and the thing between us that kept pulling us together like magnets. Until we were lost in sensations and orgasms.
And in each other.
I fucked her until we were one person, and in a way we were, because I'd lost myself along the way and I found myself again in the most unlikely place.
I'd found myself again in the haunted eyes of a girl who was just as lost as I was.
Or maybe, we didn't find each other at all.
Maybe, we just decided to be lost together.

New Release!!! Be the One-- Nina Levine!!!

Title: Be The One
Rockstar Romance
Author: Nina Levine
Release Date: June 26, 2015
Add to: Goodreads

Well. I have to say it. I actually wasn't very please with this book. I felt as though this wasn't even the same Jett & Presley as who we met in All Your Reasons!! And I don't mean to say that they have developed, more like they have de-evolved, if that makes sense?
Instead of Presley being the self-sufficient, confident young woman that we met in book 1- she's suddenly an angry and whiny harpy. She's blowing up at Jett over every little comment he makes, and the fact that he isn't spending his every waking moment with her. I realize that this came from her relationship drama with Lennon, but still- she should have realized that Jett was nothing like him.
As far as Jett goes, he has turned into this possessive beast, that explodes when any man so much as looks at Presley. He claims to love her to no end, but he is the first to shut her out when times get tough, and walk away from everything that they were building. It seemed as though she was the first person to get the brunt of his bad feelings, but the only person that he wanted when he needed comfort. Some of it just made no sense to me.
I'm glad that these two worked their way to an HEA, but honestly- I worry about how their future will go as they face their hurdles. I just didn't get a good feeling that they had a solid foundation to build on. I'm not sure what happened with the disconnect between book 1 & 2, but it was enough that I can only give this one 3.5 stars.

Jett Vaughn has one thing on his mind these days - Presley Hart.  He will do anything it takes to make her his.  At least, he thinks he will.

Presley Hart wants one thing in life - a man who will make her his number one.  After being married to a man who never put her first, she swore she'd never settle for second best again.  At least, she thought she wouldn't.

When Jett's life comes crashing down around him, his flaws are laid bare for all to see.  Presley stands by her man but there's only so much she can do to help him.  She loves him and wants to be with him but she has her limits and Jett's about to reach them.

In the midst of hurt, loss and destruction, can love win out?  Can a man who is struggling to find his way, show the woman he loves just how much he wants her to be the one?  Or is there only so much a heart can take before enough's enough?

I squeeze him and then drop to my knees to take him into my mouth. After I treat him to my mouth and tongue for a moment, I let him go and take him back into my hand. Looking up at him, I suggest, “That might be something I would let you boss me around on.”
His hands grab me under my arms and pull me up. He lifts me and turns around to deposit me on the vanity. After I’ve wrapped my legs around him, he kisses me hard and growls, “I did consider bossing you into sucking my dick for longer but it turns out I want inside of your pussy more than your mouth.”
“Turns out I want that, too. You gonna take care of that or are you all talk and no action?”
His eyes flash heat at me and he hisses. Running his finger over my lips, he says, “I’ve fucking missed this dirty mouth. I’m not sure what I like more – the words coming out of it or the way it fits perfectly around my cock.”
I dig my fingernails into his back and pull him closer. “I tell you what, you hurry up and get that cock of yours inside me and I’ll treat you to both words and tongue all day long.”
“Jesus fucking Christ, woman, I’m going to bang you so fucking hard you might not be able to speak for the rest of the day.” He positions his cock at my entrance and I try to push myself even further against him so I can force it in, but he’s teasing me and pulls away at the last moment.
“I’m game if you are,” I practically beg him. “Let’s see what you’ve got, Mr. Rockstar.”
His hungry eyes are all over me and it’s like a switch is flipped and he can’t hold back any longer. He thrusts in and my eyes roll back in my head. He wasn’t kidding when he said he was going to fuck me hard. Hard is what I just got. And I’m in fucking heaven.

When heartbreaker meets ball breaker, sparks will fly.

Rockstar, Jett Vaughn, isn’t against settling down, but no woman has ever held his attention long enough for a relationship to develop. That is until he meets Presley Hart. She’s confident, opinionated and headstrong. She drives him to the edge of crazy, but he can’t deny how she makes him feel.

He wants her heart, but she only wants his body.

Presley’s not against giving her heart to a man, but she has too many reasons why he’s not the one to give it to. Jett isn’t a man who will take no for an answer though. He’s about to declare war on her reasons and take what he wants.

Trailer Reveal!!!! Elude-- Rachel Van Dyken!!!!

So, holy hell- I'm craving this book even more after seeing this trailer!!! Come on July 9th!!!

The sixth book in the internationally bestselling Eagle Elite Series.
*Interconnected Stand Alone*

Twenty-Four hours before we were to be married--I offered to shoot her.
Ten hours before our wedding--I made a mockery of her dying wish.
Five hours before we were going to say our vows--I promised I'd never love her.
One hour before I said I do--I vowed I'd never shed a tear over her death.
But the minute we were pronounced man and wife--I knew.
I'd only use my gun to protect her.
I'd give my life for hers.
I'd cry.
And I would, most definitely, lose my heart, to a dying girl---a girl who by all accounts should have never been mine in the first place.
I always believed the mafia would be my end game--where I'd lose my heart, while it claimed my soul. I could have never imagined. It would be my redemption.
Or the beginning of something beautiful.
The beginning of her.
The end of us.

Review!!!! Flawed Heart-- Bella Jewel!!!

So, I just finished Max and Belle's story last night, and I am in love with these two!! Their love, which truly withstood the test of time, is so beautiful. When I started it, I didn't know if Max was going to be able to redeem himself, sadly. It seemed as though so much had happened to tear a wedge into their relationship, and five years had passed, without any contact between the two. Max seemingly had gone on with his life, while Belle had just kind of put hers on pause.
Little did I realize that Max was hurting just as much as Belle was. He was just as miserable, and had been suffering just as bad. Because he too, had been living for five long years, without the live of his life. He just did a better job of hiding his anguish, and instead channelled it into the rage he needed to compete in underground fighting. I also felt bad for him, due to the fact that he had no idea that he had a daughter, no clue whatsoever. I did have a big problem with Belle doing that to him. I felt as though regardless of what had happened between them, that Immy still deserved her father.
I loved how fiercely Max and Belle loved each other, and how they both ultimately refused to give up on that love. I knew that Bella would not let me down, and that these two would have their HEA, but God was it heart wrenching getting there!! Bella is definitely an author that knows how to twist your gut and make you squirm before you get your jollies, but that I suppose is one of the reasons that I love her books so much!! Flawed Heart was no exception, and gets 5 blinding stars from me!!!!

Blog Tour!!! Side by Side-- Wendy Loiuse!!!

What's better than a story of love, that begins as children? Not much. Two people that grow up together, learning all there is to know about the other person, all of their good, their bad, and most importantly- their ugly. For Elijah and Katy Lou, there is a whole lot of ugly. These two, childhood friends, who were ripped apart at the tender age of fourteen, waited for years to be able to be back together.
Elijah, who grew up in an extremely abusive home, was whisked away in the middle of the night with his mother, all to escape his abusive dad. However, as they had to keep their location a secret, he was never able to let his best friend, Katy Lou, know where he was. However, Katy Lou was always more than Elijah's best friend- she was the only good in his otherwise horrific life.
Years passed them by, and they were both forced to move on with their lives. Katy Lou ended up in a relationship with another man, one whom she seemed to love more as a bestie than a lover, but never forgot about Elijah. She dreamed of him, always wondering what had happened to the boy that owned her heart. Elijah, on the other hand, became an underground fighter, and began touring the country in order to become the best of the best. This is the way that he decided to channel all of the rage and anger from his childhood.
So, by chance one night, while accompanying her boyfriend to a fight, Katy Lou discovers Elijah, and it immediately turns her world upside down. They reconnect soon after, and both realize that they have always been in love with each other, and are unwilling to let the other go. Now, as there is an instance of cheating on Katy Lou's part in the book, this is one of the reasons that I couldn't give the book 5 stars. I have a problem with characters that cheat- it's just a personal pet peeve, nothing against the author.
The other reason for my 4 star rating, comes with the fact that these two sometimes seemed to forget that they were now adults, and acted as though they were the teenagers they used to be. There were several instances of intense jealousy, and misunderstandings that occurred- that I felt could have all been avoided, had they actually talked to one another. Instead, they seemed to pout like children and run away. Those were my only faults with the book, otherwise, it was a great story, with a wonderful supporting cast of friends, who will have their own story own soon. Again, 4 stars for Side by Side!!
Side By Side Synopsis:
What would you do if your childhood best friend, your soul mate, and the one person that means more than anyone else in the world was suddenly in front of you after disappearing from your life ten years ago?

Would you risk your stable life, to allow them back in to your heart, even after they had left you without any explanation?

Katy Lou Reynolds needs to make a choice. She can either ignore the fact that Elijah Trent is standing in the middle of the cage about to fight, or she can face him and demand answers as to why he left her.

Is it worth risking her heart for her one true love even though she knows it may get broken again, or is it better to let him walk away?

When Katy Lou tags along with her boyfriend to an Underground Cage fight, the last thing she expects to find in the ring is her childhood best friend, Elijah. Seeing him again brings back distant memories - a drunken mother, an absent father and relentless school bullies. Most of all, it re-awakens the feelings she had for him. Elijah has always held her heart; but after he left her when they were fourteen, without a word, can she risk everything to let him back in to her life again?

Elijah is a great fighter. He channels all the aggression he suffered at the hands of an abusive father in to every fight, every time. His success feeds his lifestyle of new cities and endless women, eager to spend time with him. His one regret has always been leaving behind his best friend, Katy Lou. There's nothing he wouldn't give to see her again, but if he does, would she forgive him for leaving her and risk her heart?

Wendy Louise Bio:
Hi, I’m Wendy Louise. I’m a wife and mum living in Melbourne, Australia. I love to read and write, and I somehow managed to fit writing this book in between my regular day time duties, which include a full-time job and life in general with two busy children.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After many surgeries and treatments, I learnt that life is short and you need to grab it while you can. I always wanted to write, and I realised that it was now or never.
You can usually find me with a few books on the go at once – whether that be reading them, or writing them. I love chocolate and trashy reality TV. It’s not unusual for me to combine all these and attempt to write, while watching an episode of the Kardashians or The Bachelor, and devouring a block of Cadbury Dairy Milk…..
I am so excited to bring ‘Side by Side’ to you all. It has been such a labour of love for me. I presently have four other novels nearing completion, so I am excited to follow this up with many more.
I hope you enjoy reading Elijah and Katy’s story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Review!!! Ride Stead-- Kristen Ashley!!!!

Now, seriously, you guys know that I could easily wax poetic about KA all damn day- so, I'm going to try and keep my fan girl gushing to a minimum with this review. That said- it doesn't mean that I'll be any less loving and forthcoming about how totally freaking awesome this book is!!!!! I mean, come on- it's Joker's book!! Joker- Carson Steele. The man who earned his road name, because he NEVER smiled. You had to know that when he found his love, his perfect ending- that it was gonna be EPIC. And, it definitely was.

Kristen spared no emotion when it came to Joker and Carissa. This book will give you all of the feels, plus more. I mean, there's just no other way to say that. You oughta know though, if you've ever picked up a KA book, that you are going to go through the ringer. You're going to laugh, cry, scream, cuss, and probably hit something or someone before you get to the end. That's why the books are so good- because you are made to feel it all. Every. Single. Thing.

Trust me, with Joker and Carissa- there is a whole lot to feel too. Joker's history is well and truly going to break your damn heart. Just straight up. The things that he endured, as a child no less, from his piece of crap dad- are simply deplorable. You're going to want to breathe fire for him. But, at the same time- you're going to know that he is a better man, because he rose above it all to become the person that he is now. Carissa's history, while not quite so ugly, is no less sad. While she doesn't suffer the same way that Joker does- she most definitely suffers, a lot.

Thankfully, the men of Chaos are there for both of them, as well as several of our favorites from series past. Lots of page time occurs with the Dream Men and the Hot Bunch (yippee), so you've got lots to look forward to with this one!! This is definitely one of KA's best, and one not to be missed (not that you should ever miss a KA book). So, do NOT delay and get Ride Steady now, babies!!!!
