Well, we all knew that we wanted Rian’s story once we met him in Xander’s story. We knew how tough and ruthless he was when dealing with the fallout of the plot to overthrow the government of Bandiff, but we also hoped that he could have a ray of sunshine too.
So, Madison have us a Cinderella story, complete with two wicked step sisters and a stepmother from hell. Except this princess’s name is Emilia. And she is the absolute perfect match for someone like Rian. The woman to love the King of Bandiff would have to have a spine of steel, a heart of gold and a soul deeper than any ocean in the lands. All of which Emilia had in spades. She was his true love- and he knew at at first sight.
I loved the fairy tale aspect of this one, and the amazing chemistry between the characters. I adored the supporting cast of characters as well, and can not wait to read Vi’s story with Adam and Shane!!
