Wow- this book is good!! I haven't had the pleasure of getting my hands on any of Kim's stuff before now- but that is definitely going to change. The girl is good......

Emily and Ivan- holy crow. Talk about angst and tension with these two. It comes in loads. Even though they have been in each other's lives FOREVER and have been having "extracirricular" activities for a while, there is still so much left unresolved between them. I mean the book starts by Em breaking up with Ivan for goodness sakes!! And it just goes from there.

They quickly learn that they have to put aside their personal drama to step up and be a team in order to keep Permanent (the family tat shop) up and running in the absence of Em's big bro and Ivan's best friend, Shane (as he is out on paternity leave, lol). They are quickly faced with a huge monkeywrench when the future of not only the shop, but the artist's reputation is threatened by an outside source. It forces them to do what's best for the shop and come together to solve the mystery of what happened.

All that time together finally pays off for them though, as they fight to stay in each other's lives, and push to have the future that they both want. Neither of them is willing to let the other go, even when they both know that there are times that they should. They just can't. It is such a show of the love that they have had for one another for years, even when neither would admit it to theirself.

This book definitely gets a high review from me- 4.5 stars!! It was awesome and I look forward to getting the rest of the Elliot clans stories too!!

What inspired you to write the Indelibly Marked Series? I loved the idea of the bad boy with a heart of gold. I wanted someone who was off the beaten track and totally and completely Los Angeles. Shane was born because I love that look and that image.

Who is your favorite character to write? Oh geez, thats like asking to choose a favorite child. I have to say that while Shane will always hold a special place in my heart, the title of my favorite person to write has to go to his best friend, Ivan. He is so damaged and so worried and just wants to do the right thing. He’s so afraid of anything upsetting his little universe and I just could really identify with him.

What is your attraction to Tattooed men? It seems like men with tattoos are very deep, so deep that they need to put on their skin what maybe they can’t say in words.

What kind of research did you do for the series? I visited a lot of shops in Hollywood, I interviewed tattoo artists from around the country, and I did an extensive interview with Dirk Vermin (Bad Ink). For some of the plot points in the second book I did consult with two dermatologists.

Are there going to be more books in this series? There will be two more to round off the series. Carson, the quiet brother, and we will end with Dillon.

Elicit-- Rachel Van Dyken!!!

I just knew that when I finally got a hold of Tex's story, that it was going to be the best yet- and don't ya know- I was absolutely right!! OH MY GOD!!!!! I am in love with this book!!!!! Definitely my favorite of the Eagle Elite series, which again, is by FAR one of my favorite book series ever. It is just that damn awesome. Period. If you haven't already started it, first off let me ask- why??? Second, get on it NOW. There is a reason that Rachel herself has stated that Eagle Elite is her own personal fave of her works, so that oughta tell y'all something.

Tex and Mo- god, they steal my soul, not just my heart and my breath- but just my flat out soul. Theirs is one of those stories that you just knew was going to be simply explosive and unforgettable, but I had no idea that it was going to be so beautiful. Because it was just that- beautiful. And tragic. And gut wrenching. Mind blowing. Stop your heart beat in your chest and the breath coming from your lungs-- freaking amazing. Nothing like it. I honestly have no clue how Rachel is going to beat it in the future- even though I can sense that Phoenix is definitely going to test my theory on that.

Without a doubt, this is one of the greatest books I have ever had the pleasure of feasting my eyes on, and is truly a shining example of why I love literature. It just makes everything better to find that joy in the words that an author has poured their love into.

So, yeah- I definitely give Elicit 5 stars, maybe more than that. It's awesome- I can't say enough about it. Just get it now. Trust the junkie...........

Wrapped in Shadows-- Lisa Eugene!!!!

Holy moly-- what a ride!! This book was great, and I am shocked that I have not come across this author before now. She has a way with those words, that's for sure!!

This story has it all-- steam, love, murder, mystery and suspense- what more could you want?? I really can't say too much about this one, because I cannot give away the big secret of who the hero is. But the story is about a socialite, who after catching her fiancé in a rather compromising position with his ex, flees to the comfort of her best friend and her boyfriend- who just happen to be members of an exclusive sex club in town. Riding on the waves of her recently broken trust, she decides to be adventurous and go to the club, for the sole purpose of having one night of mind altering passion with a complete stranger.

She is set up with a man, who more than fulfills her every fantasy, giving her the best night of her life. Only, she never sees his face- complete anonymity. She falls asleep in his arms, only to be awakened later to pandemonium at the club- which allows her and her best friend to make her hasty exit, and her mystery man is nowhere to be found. She quickly decides to put her night behind her, even though she cannot get the man out of her head. He even haunts her dreams.

So, when she discovers that the pandemonium she encountered as she left the club, is due to a murder that occurred while she was there- she is shocked to find out the identity of the man she was with on that fateful night. And she is even more shocked to find out that he is the suspect in the murder. She immediately knows that she must do whatever it takes to save him. This leads to a fantastic storyline, and several twists and turns that you will never see coming.

I highly recommend this book-- it was a 5 star read for me!! Be sure to pick it up!!

REVIEW

What more can I say about this series, other than it is FAN- FREAKING- TASTIC!!!! I love, love, love City!!! So, I was thrilled to get even more of City and Suzy in this book- and finally see them finish out their HEA. Even though I know Chelle will let us get more of them in the books to come, it still is awesome to get City one on one.

This book is about their journey down the aisle- and what a journey it ends up being. In true City fashion, he manages to piss Suzy off, while still making all of us drool over not being able to have him for ourselves!! It was amazing- a true alpha love story for sure. There were times when I had to hold my breath for fear that things would get to far out of hand, but Chelle pulled me through and brought it all full circle. I mean, really, I just love this chick!! She is an amazing author, and I cannot wait to get more from her.

Speaking of more, we get a tiny taste of what's to come in Resist Me, which is Izzy's book and next in the series. We get the pleasure of meeting James- and my oh my, what a pleasure he is. Total yum. I CANNOT wait to get me some more James!! We also get to meet Flash, and even though Chelle has told us that he isn't gonna be Izzy's man- he doesn't seem to be boring, lol. So yeah, Resist Me is definitely one book that I am highly anticipating!! Keep it up Chelle- this series is awesomesauce!!
