Normally, the books that have Daddy topics are ones that I roll my eyes at. I find most pretty cliche, to be quite honest. However, I can never turn down a good taboo story. So, after reading the premise for this one- I figured I would give this Daddy tale a shot. I'm glad I did- because Madison Faye hasn't let me down yet.
Damien, being much older than Lyra's eighteen years, has just acquired her stepfather's company, and unknowingly Lyra's internship with said company. At the company mixer, he stumbles upon the girl who captured his attention at first glance, as she is admiring his art collection in his private office. Deciding that he is going to make her his, he thinks that Daddy is the perfect way for her to address him henceforth- even if they aren't related in the slightest. It doesn't help that Lyra seems to have a slight Daddy complex herself, given the lack of her own father in her life.
A slight misunderstanding quickly ensues betwixt them, making for some tense moments, where you aren't certain their love can pull them through- yet Damien proves to her that he isn't about to let her slip through his fingers. He knows something good when he sees it, and he always gets what he wants.
Madison Faye gives a great HEA in this book, full of naughtiness that will make you blush and squirm. This is one you don't want to miss!
